For our location in Limburg a. d. Lahn we are looking for: SERVICE MANAGER who will be integrated into our service department. The Service Manager is responsible for all service, support, training and service sales activities for all test benches and peripheral devices in Europe. The Service Manager is the first point of contact for all customer service and support inquiries

QUALIFIKATIONEN:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwesen (Maschinenbau, Elektrotechnik, Mechatronik o.ä.)
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich der Maschineninbetriebnahme oder Service
  • Erfahrung mit Leistungsprüfständen, Mess- und Prüfgeräten
  • Gutes technisches Wissen und Verständnis
  • Fließende Deutsch & Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Fähigkeit zur Überwachung und Koordinierung der Tätigkeiten
  • Hohes Maß an Eigenmotivation und Teamfähigkeit
  • Reisebereitschaft im In- und Ausland für mehrere Wochen
  • Gute Microsoft Office Kenntnisse
  • Hands on Mentalität
  • Verfügbarkeit für Überstunden
  • Gültiger Führerschein (B)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, etc.)
  • Several years of professional experience in the area of machine commissioning or service
  • Experience with performance test benches, measuring and testing devices
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding
  • Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate activities
  • High level of self-motivation and ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for several weeks
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Hands on mentality
  • Availability for overtime
  • Valid driving license (B)

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and responsibility of the service department
  • Identification and acquisition of new services for Link Europe in the test bench area
  • Quick problem solving for service requests
  • Contribution of your technical and leadership skills to the successful further development of services in the area of support for test benches
  • Ensuring the ongoing qualification of service employees
  • Monitoring the work to be carried out by customers to actively increase problem-solving management
  • Carrying out on-site training at the customer’s site in German and English
  • Organization of calibrations according to quality standards
  • Creation of technical documentation
  • Technically competent communication with customers and suppliers
  • Keep your arrival planning and scheduling tool up to date
  • Planning activities, project planning
  • Create offers for desired activities
  • Sales activities for technical support and service
  • Reporting on current machine statuses and personnel planning
  • Technical support for customer inquiries
  • Management of the tool
  • Close collaboration and communication with our team in the USA
