This key operational role essentially oversees the successful delivery of supports across our Supported Living Accommodation Sites in Wagga Wagga, Murrumbidgee. This role is both fast paced and hands on.
On a day to day basis, the Service Manager will (but is not limited to):
- Provide strategic direction & leadership to the allocated portfolio as well as strategically plan for the future
- Actively manage customer vacancies & transitions
- Travel between sites as required
- Oversee service coordinator development to manage customer and staff expectations
- Continuously build brand awareness of Northcott as a leading independent living provider, using initiative to capitalise on opportunities that may arise.
Given the responsibility of this role, the following essential experience will be required:
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing and supporting a diverse but skilled team of service coordinators and support workers
- Understanding of the NDIS-efficient price model of service delivery
- Demonstrated qualifications/experience in management, disability, health or welfare
- Strong ability to work with the Senior Operations Manager with a view to forge new & strengthen existing relationships with the local community and service providers

In terms of previous skills we see you as having:
- Recent experience within the disability or care services industry sectors
- Recent successful experience in leading a team to deliver high quality levels of service
- Exposure to and interest in financial management, planning and budgeting skills and the capacity to interpret financial data
- Previous experience working with A&TSI and CALD communities
- Recent success with and ongoing interest in developing new business opportunities, partnerships and strategic relationships that drive growth.

- NSW Working with Children’s Check (Essential)
