Responsibilities:

YOUR NEW ROLE WILL BE

As our newest Service Planner, you will engage daily with our customers as you answer their inquiries and provide excellent customer service on behalf of Atlas Copco. You will enjoy being a team-player as you interact frequently and coordinate with our various departments, all with the support of the Service Operations Manager, Service Division. You can expect us to provide all necessary training on our service plans and services when you get started with us.
* This position requires you to be onsite in the office to support with basic shipping and receiving duties.

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Answering incoming customer calls/emails and providing excellent customer service as you help them identify their service needs and apply the right course of action
  • Planning and deploying the service, repair and maintenance work and any other site-specific needs for your territory, in collaboration with Sales Representatives and the Service Operations Manager
  • Selecting the right Service Technician based on the skill requirement for each job and proactively preparing them with anything they may need (training, drug testing, gate passes, vehicle information and any other additional information)
  • Preparing required parts list and specialty tools (if required) and actively following-up to make sure they are being ordered and shipped at the required date
  • Set up the parts in the office for efficient technicians pick up and/or shipping to customer sites
  • Coordinating and controlling all unused/returned parts brought back by the Service Technician using the return form and placing the parts back into the local inventory
  • Coordinating the issuing of purchase orders, ensuring they are sent to vendors, following up with vendor service delivery, retrieving visit report from vendor, and then finally closing the job
  • Monitor all open jobs WIP (Work In Progress) and make sure to take actions to reduce aging WIP

WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED IN YOUR NEW ROLE

  • Your 3+ years of previous experience in a similar role (ex: customer service, dispatcher, coordinator, planner, maintenance planner etc.)
  • Your ability to communicate effectively in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Your advanced computer skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, SAP (would be an asset)
  • Your ability to give great customer service, develop relations and handle customer concerns
  • Your strong organization and time management skills.
