POSITION SUMMARY

CIMCO Refrigeration is looking for a full-time permanent Service Project Coordinator for the office in Burlington.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in managing projects in the HVACR service / facilities maintenance industry.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
  • Understanding of building systems, commercial construction practices, processes & techniques
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Proficient MS Office and Windows-based computer applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, etc.)
  • PMP / Engineering Degree an asset

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, communication and overall closure of individual fixed price service projects.
  • Assist Sales with cost estimating for Fixed Price Service Orders.
  • Host Fixed Price Service Order kick off meetings, track meeting minutes and action items.
  • Plan, coordinate and manage effectively all labor, material and equipment to meet the established budget, schedule and scope of work.
  • Direct, manage and control trades, suppliers, utilities and any third parties to ensure work is undertaken in the proper sequence and in full compliance with the service program.
  • Maintain communication with the field workers on your jobs to ensure that all of their needs are taken care of in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the CIMCO scope of work is achieved and that any extra work is communicated to the appropriate Account Manager for quoting.
  • Perform site inspections to monitor site safety and compliance.
  • Review and approve expenditures on all orders under your supervision.
  • Work in conjunction with the Ontario Service Team to assign CIMCO manpower to Service Orders.
