Description:
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Engineering Degree onwards or equivalent (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Process)
- 3 years and above experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, F&B, HVAC/Refrigeration or similar industries
- Good communication, analytical, organizing & relationship management skills
- Industrial & Process Refrigeration products, systems or maintenance knowledge
- Budgeting & forecasting
- Must be a proactive team player
- Good communication skill in English
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As Service Sales Engineer IR, you will be part of Industrial Refrigeration Service team to handle sales and technical inquiries from customers by providing front end technical, commercial, and administrative support which will be assisted by the operations team in Singapore.
- Service business performance growth through pro-actively selling (existing and new initiatives)
- Sales Revenue, GM and AR overdue
- Maintain existing customer base and develop new customer base to ensure continuous business growth.
- Customer relationships building and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and follow through of quotation
- Update of installed base, SFDC and Service Max opportunities
- Ensure JCI’s ethics, policies and procedures are followed
HOW YOU WILL DO IT:
- Proactive selling of Labour and Material (L&M), Retrofits, Parts, Preventive Service Agreements (PSA) and new initiatives through schedule and/or drop in visits
- Recommend solutions to customer requirements which will have company’s competitive advantage
- Understand pricing, quotation, technical proposal, clarification & negotiation with factory/vendors during quotation preparation, and budgeting
- Review received order against quotation, comments on T&C’s and book in/hand over of orders.
- Represent the company to customers with professional appearance, maintain consistent communication with customers as well as establish the long-term relationship with them
- Maintain field intelligence and feedback pertinent information on competitor’s activities, product, prices, business performance and develop the necessary business strategies to ensure the company excels.
- Execution of business operation and conduct are to conform to JC Singapore policies.
- Communicate and work closely with other departments in ensuring the overall company objectives/performance is achieved at all times.
- Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior.
