REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma with an associate’s degree or certificate with a minimum of 1 years’ experience of industry or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Computer Proficient and can perform at an Intermediate to expert level of the Microsoft suite of programs
- Able to translate strategy to action, Effective verbal and/or written communication at all levels of an organization, works effectively in ambiguous situations, ability to multi-task.
Responsibilities:
YOUR TASKS:
The Service Support and IT Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the work processes for the service department whilst providing some local IT support to the Miltenyi Australia team. Duties include generating technical reports, managing service agreements and service related quotations, coordinating with logistics and sales teams, maintaining equipment records, inventory & spare parts management, staying updated on global service requirements, and assisting in IT responsibilities for the AUS/NZ Miltenyi team. Duties may also include some in-house instrument service activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain the Service and equipment database including any related CRM entries of customer details.
- Responsible for monitoring spare parts inventory including annual stock take.
- Generate and report on Service tool calibration schedules, preventative maintenance schedules, service contract renewals and billing schedules.
- Provide administrative and customer support for service enquiries.
- Create quotations for instrument services and repairs including other services to be offered which can often require close liaising with the Logistics and Sales team.
- Responsible for creating and processing Instrument Service Agreement details and Preventative Maintenance schedules for customers.
- Attend face to face and online trainings in accordance with Service Manager.
- Keep up to date with global service requirements by studying relevant documents and close communication with Miltenyi Biotec global service organization.
- Assistant IT role for the AUS/NZ Team dealing with IT hardware and software related items. This includes staff laptop PC’s, mobile phones, tablets, office network server infrastructure and landline phone handsets.
- Optional duties to perform in-house instrument service QC and maintenance checks of analytical and medical equipment in accordance with applicable specifications and regulations (Miltenyi Biotec specifications, electrical/medical safety specifications)
