QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or equivalent degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Skilled technician.
  • Possessing the ability to read and comprehend technical manuals, interpret electrical diagrams, and flowcharts.
  • Expertise in identifying and resolving technical issues related to machinery and equipment.
  • Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance methods and tools. Ability to perform routine inspections and repair a variety of equipment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders through verbal and written communication.
  • Flexibility to respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed.
  • Good communication skills in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities:

  • You should have knowledge of various welding and pipefitting techniques, such as brazing, soldering, TIG, MIG, stick and orbital welding.
  • Be able to identify materials of construction.
  • It would be beneficial to have the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues, but it is not a requirement.
  • Being able to comprehend P&ID diagrams, read and understand technical manuals and electrical diagrams and interpret layout and installation drawings.
  • Troubleshooting experience and knowledge of various gas system components including regulators, solenoids, check valves, different types of mechanical valves (both manual and automatic/solenoid), gas analyzers, piping and fittings, pressure relief devices, and rupture discs.
  • Familiarization with various cryogenic storage vacuum systems, mixers, and vaporizers.
  • Familiar with troubleshooting reciprocating and centrifugal pump systems.
  • You will be required to provide instructions and oversee the work of external personnel, including crane operators, electrical technicians, and mechanical contractors.
  • Knowledgeable regarding pressure testing procedures.
  • Maintain stock of needed parts and supplies for service vehicles.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work, including calibration and replacement of parts, to minimize production downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment to identify and solve issues, determining root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • You will keep accurate maintenance records, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory logs.
  • In order to ensure safety and comply with all regulations in the workplace, we must follow all Air Liquide, national, and internal guidelines.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment both inside and outside the customer and Air Liquide facilities, in compliance with safety regulations.
