Service Technician - Hanmer Springs

We are currently recruiting for a person to join the Engineering and maintenance team at the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa to assist in the running of our highly automated plant.
Not only are Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa an exceptional place to visit, it’s also an exceptional place to work. With a range of 22 outdoor thermal pools at a variety of temperatures, day spa, private pools, sauna, and steam rooms – it’s like working in paradise.

YOUR ROLE AS SERVICE TECHNICIAN WILL INVOLVE:

• Plant room operation, automation, and maintenance – pumps, filters, BMS, etc.
• Ensuring water quality and temperature are up to standard.
• Shadowing the Manger of Engineering & Maintenance on a variety of tasks
• Working on new projects
• Working within the operations team
• 40 hours per week (including 1 weekend day)
• Some on-call work from time to time.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

• Technically minded with the ability to fault find and think outside the box.
• Practical skills in some or all the following:
• Mechanical operations and maintenance
• Plumbing and/or water filtration
• Electrical operations and maintenance
• Gas fitting
• Computer and smart phone literate - prior experience with a BMS system advantageous.
• Versatility and willingness to help the team when and where it is required.
