The role
We are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and strong performing HD Fitters to join our Field Service team.

As a Field Service Technician, you will be performing inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment. Including but not limited to;

  • Surface Drills (Boom and Rotary)
  • Underground Trucks
  • Underground Loaders
  • Underground Development and Production Drills
  • Ancillary UG equipment
  • Hydraulic repair and troubleshooting
  • Electrical repair and troubleshooting
  • Automation setup maintenance and troubleshooting
  • OEM Training and support

The role will work on a 7/7 roster where you will be travelling to different customer sites across NSW.

Areas of responsibility

  • Perform fault diagnosis, maintain, and repair mining equipment
  • Identify faults in the electrical and mechanical configuration of various mobile systems
  • Maintain inspection test reports and documentation
  • Support technicians from other regions and assist in training
  • Adhere to all policies & procedures especially the EHS policies
  • Work effectively either in a team environment or autonomously
  • Assist with machine audits/inspections

Your Profile

  • Relevant Trade Qualification
  • Experience maintaining surface drilling (boom and rotary) and underground drilling/Load and Haul
  • Valid Driver’s License (compulsory)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Flexible to work with customer requirements, procedures, and safety policies
  • Positive attitude and a high level of determination to achieve targets set for customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work unsupervised
