We are looking for Service Technician working for European team.
Job description:
Industrial valves maintenance and overhauls executed in Valmet Flow Control European service centers. Works independently to complete given assignments, dealing with complex maintenance and repair works following strict quality and safety standards. Guides and supervises big groups of technicians ensuring shutdown works will meet tight time frames and highest work quality.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Job shall be executed either in Valmet own service center as the default place of work but also in customer workshop or third party facilities;
• Inspects, tests, maintains, overhauls and upgrades Valmet valves, actuators, smart products and valves’ accessories in accordance with detailed instructions, keeping highest overhauls quality standards, following strictly Valmet service procedures and safety processes;
• Gives recommendations and guidelines related to needed service scope and recommends spare parts necessary for repair or replacement;
• Prepares service job documentation for each completed job that is further provided as technical feedback to customer;
• Supports service center leader for service center operation and management;
• Keeps the service center facilities, tools and machines in order and cleanliness.
• Ensures HSEQ rules are followed.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Technical school diploma, preferably mechanical or instrumentation specialization;
• min 4 years of experience as service technician working in service center or maintenance teams;
• Able to work independently to complete given technical service assignments and carrying out day-to-day servicing activities;
• Understands complex valve overhauls procedures, maintenance processes, possible HSE risks;
• Structured and systematic approach to execute given tasks;
• Capable to work under demanding pressure to complete given tasks on time;
• Capable to guide others providing reliable and trusted service guidelines;
• Driving license B;
• Knowledge of MS Office;
• Knowledge of the English language.
