Description:

Responsibilities:
- Establish a long-term vision and short-term operational direction for the Service training function in APAC.
- Innovate and employ advanced curriculum development and training methodologies for STERIS programs.
- Collaborate with Infection Prevention Technology (IPT) and Surgical Business Unit to develop technical training programs.
- Work with North America and EMEA Service experts to deliver appropriate Service Process training.
- Write training modules that are simple and suitable for Asia Pacific install base, considering multi-language and team diversity.
- Be the “Train the Trainer” lead for Asia Pacific. Lead the Field-Based Regional training program and monitor trainer performance.
- Create a technical knowledge competency matrix for Dealers and Service employees.
- Establish second-level Tech support for the ASIA Region (1st level being the STERIS regional entities and STERIS Regional service managers) and be the interface with the BU.
- Manage the Service Training Department and track program development costs.
- Develop annual training schedules and technical programs for different product lines.
- Analyze and meet technical training needs for Healthcare service teams in Asia Pacific.
- Certify technicians & maintain training records in line with audit and regulatory standards.
- Maintain the Regional Training Center in Malaysia and ensure up-to-date training operations.
- Identify alternate delivery methods and provide career paths for supervised employees.
- Communicate the role of the Service Training Department across STERIS divisions.
