Job description:
As a dedicated and focused Services Sales professional; the Sales Service Manager will be responsible for supporting Sales pursuits; ensuring fast turnaround times for scoping, Statement of Work production and overall deal closure acceleration.
You get to meet prospective customers during pre-sales engagements and help determine the great ways in which PROS can improve their business.
You will be responsible for:
- Driving growth of Annual Recurring Revenue by supporting strategic sales pursuits and win strategies, focusing on:
- Scoping, estimating and initial planning of new projects (including statement of work creation and negotiation) to develop Account Strategies, in partnership with Strategic Consultants and Executive Account Managers.
- Providing insights into new opportunities at existing accounts to Strategic Consultants and Executive Account Managers to help expand the PROS footprint by constantly evaluating growth opportunities.
- Partnering with the Services Portfolio Managers to align on new project scope, risks, assumptions for deals in pursuit and to drive Change Orders (when needed).
- Improving documentation of scope and requirements during sales cycle, to support improved delivery expectations, efficiency and reduce escalations.
- Collaborating actively with peers on the PS team and across the organization to drive PROS overall performance and excellence.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience managing complex customer relationships and expectations. Demonstrated commitment to building strong business relationships with customer.
- Strong presentation/demonstration skills, effectively working directly with prospects, customers, and executives
- Ability to effectively communicate with senior leaders internally and with customer.
- Ability to interface and demonstrate leadership both internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of activities with varying priorities
- High-energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
- Exposure to Pricing, Revenue Management and/or CPQ practices
- Solid knowledge of information security and compliance
- Understanding of ERP and CRM concepts, architecture and database objects, and integration technology capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration
- Travel availability 25-50%
