Description:

FULL-TIME, TERM CONTRACT UNTIL MARCH 31, 2025 (WITH POSSIBILITY FOR EXTENSION)

Are you interested in joining the Settlement Services team? We are looking for a Programmer to support the delivery of services to our foreign-born community. This position is for someone who wants to positively impact the success of newcomers in our community and requires the talents of an individual with exceptional organizational and administrative talents.
As one of three Programmers, you will support the planning and delivery of all settlement programs as well as provide critical administrative support to the larger team. Nothing can be accomplished without the behind-the-scenes talent of the programmers who ensure every detail of program delivery is set and ready to go!
This role requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working in client data management systems and team information portals. Your exceptional organizational skills and acute attention to detail are necessary for success in this position.
Your cover letter and resume should demonstrate your communication skills, both written and verbal, your ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment, and your ability to work confidently across cultures.
You are an experienced driver with a valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license and can provide a clear driver’s abstract on hire. You will be required to provide a clear RCMP criminal background check with vulnerable sector clearance on hire.
Working safely is a condition of employment at the Town of Banff. As part of our internal responsibility system, all employees are accountable for adhering to Occupational Health and Safety legislation and Town of Banff safety protocols. The Town of Banff’s safety culture philosophy is one of continuous improvement, so we look forward to your suggestions to make our workplace even safer.
