Leidos is seeking a SharePoint Developer to support a large contract with the FAA. The SharePoint Developer will support the planning and development of SharePoint sites used as tools to support the management of the contract. The duties will include working with functional managers on contract to developer requirements to improve existing applications or develop new applications. These SharePoint applications are deployed to Leidos SharePoint farm as well as our customer’s SharePoint farm. Additionally, the SharePoint Developer will migrate sites from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint online or SharePoint 2019. The SharePoint Developer will migrate or rewrite Infopath applications and SharePoint Designer workflows to Power Apps applications and Power Automate workflows.
This role requires an individual that is technical and familiar with using SharePoint and MS Power Platform. This individual should be detail oriented to capture customer inquiries appropriately. Role requires good oral and written communication skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 8 years of prior relevant experience of Masters’ Degree 6 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience with SharePoint (2013, 2016, 2019, SPO) Workflow development
  • Experience with design, development, troubleshooting and deployment of SharePoint sites and using Power Apps, Power automate, Power BI, InfoPath, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience with SharePoint templates (site templates, list templates, master page customization)
  • Foundational knowledge around SharePoint servers and services
  • Time management skills and ability to prioritize workload based on customer requirements
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Experience with collecting, clarifying, and documenting requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust. To be eligible for Public Trust Suitability, you must be either a US Citizen or Permanent Resident who has resided in the US for the past 3 years.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft M365 and SharePoint Online
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Power Platforms

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze technical requirements and develop effective technical solutions
  • Performing SharePoint user management and group management
  • Provide support and guidance to users on SharePoint features and functionalities
  • Design and develop custom SharePoint sites, pages, libraries, lists, views, workflows, and scripts.
  • Promote user adoption through user and site manager training, consultation, and support of existing SharePoint functionality
  • Provide quality assurance review of engagement processes and deliverables
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, provide support to the system’s end-users, and work with development teams to find ways to modify or improve storage procedures
  • Develop new application to support transition from Infopath Designer 2013 to Power apps.
  • Develop new workflows to support transition from SharePoint Designer 2013 to Power automate.
  • Regularly interface with stakeholders to provide insight on project status, business requirements, functional design and remediation of risks/issues to avoid loss of business functionality during SharePoint transition effort
  • Determine options and provide a coordinated approach to managing the planning of services performing the actual conversion or rebuilding of exiting forms, tools and workflows to function in the new environment
  • Perform other related duties needed to achieve mission success
