Description:
Pay Rate: £40,000 to £45,000 + Any Shift Premium + Any Overtime
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 3 on 3 off, Rotating Days and Nights
Shift times: 0545 - 1815 and 1745 - 0615
Location: Stoke-On-Trent (ST4 4EX)
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Shift Engineer to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
Responsibilities:
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
- Ensure all items of plant operate effeciently and safely through proactive and reactive maintenance
- Provide support and engineering expertise to the site operation through implementation of proactive planned preventative maintenance
- Carry out all engineering disciplines using best Health and Safety and engineering practices
- All plant is maintained in accordance with the approved maintenance schedules and training provided
- Provide a flexible approach and service to the operation to ensure that the sites targets are achieved. Provide support to second fixers where required
