Shift Leader (Mercury plant) (m/f)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Currently we are looking for a Shift Leader to join our team in Mercury factory in Luxembourg. On this position you will:

• Lead operators in terms of following and improving the safety regulations continuously and detecting safety hazards.
• Ensure quality standards and meeting daily production requirements.
• Manage the operators during their shift in order to achieve the daily objectives based on KPIs.
• Ensure the training of the operators to guarantee a skilled and flexible workforce.
• Motivate and engage operators through leading by example.
• Ensure a good communication between operators and the leadership team.
• Manage vacation planning and anticipate work force needs.
• Provide efficient shift hand-over communication.

TO JOIN OUR TEAM YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:

• Shift leading experience (minimum 1-2 years)

• 5+ years of working experience in manufacturing environment is a considerable asset

WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

• Good knowledge of English. French and or German are considered an asset
• Good problem-solving skills and self-initiative
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - combined with the capability to lead and coach co-workers
• Results-driven and ability to influence associates to achieve common goals
• Sense of urgency and commitment to resolve issues.
• Position requires shift, evening, night and weekend work assignments
• Desire to coach associates, develop situational leadership skills, take responsibility of shift results
