Shift Operations Manager

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To work in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure the Branch operates in a professional, compliant, and profitable manner. This will be achieved through effective management of operational policies, procedures, and employees.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Lead a team of Warehouse Supervisors and Team Leaders to manage operational activities within the depot including Replenishment, Picking and Stock Management.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety and HACCP requirements are implemented and adhered to.
• Conduct route-cause analysis on any operational issues and implement preventative measures to prevent reoccurrence.
• Manage workflow in the warehouse to ensure objectives are achieved and to meet operational demands and customer requirements.
• Ensure clear handover procedures are maintained between day and night shifts to agreed standards.
• Manage all systems and process within the defined company procedures.
• Manage and report daily on all operational Key performance indicators.
• Ensure security of the Depot is maintained, protecting employees and stock.
• To contribute to the operation of the branch in a customer focused/friendly manner while also having a clear focus on Continuous Change and Improvement of systems and process.
