About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Shift team lead to join the team based at our Hope Valley site.
This position is an integral part of the Animal Nutrition operations division, where you will oversee and coordinate production operations, ensuring optimal effectiveness, quality and continuous improvement across all activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and coordination of the production operation across all Mill Technician activities from bulk out-loading, press operation and batching activities
  • Ensure quality assurance feed testing and sampling for safe product delivery
  • Foster teamwork and provide guidance and training to support team members toward growth
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental laws, and quality standards
  • Lead plant inspections, maintenance, and safety protocols
  • Complete documentation accurately and promptly
  • Commitment to continually seek opportunities for process improvement
    About you

As a self-motivated and passionate professional, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualification in Advanced Feed Milling Training; Food Processing (Cert III/Diploma)
  • Valid WA drivers licence
  • Forklift licence (desirable but not required)
  • 2+ years experience in a Team leader role
  • Unwavering commitment to safety
  • Good understanding of HACCP, GMP and Feedsafe
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication with ability to confidently liaise with management and employees
