Opportunity:
P&R Truck Centre has an exciting opening for a Shipper / Receiver / Delivery Driver in our Nanaimo, BC location. Working in our warehousing department, the Shipper / Receiver / Delivery Driver will contribute to one of Canada’s best managed companies. Responsibilities:

  • Operating our company truck to facilitate the pickup and delivery of parts throughout the area
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Shipping, receiving, documenting, and conducting inventory of products incoming and outgoing from the warehouse
  • Picking and stocking parts
  • Maintains the warehouse by ensuring clean and orderly conditions
  • Follow all safety regulations.
  • Able to identify parts
  • Operate a forklift
  • Climb ladders
  • Participate in inventory counts
  • Use computers systemsContribute to our culture of continuous improvement.

SKILL SET:

  • Proven history of maintaining a clean and organized workplace
  • Strong willingness to following safety procedures and company policies
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a physical capacity including heavy lifting and standing throughout your shift

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma
  • Class 5 BC driver’s license
  • Previous warehouse or shipping experience an asset
  • Forklift experience asset (training will be provided)
