We are currently hiring a Shipping Coordinator to join our growing team! Crown Lift Trucks is the premier material handling dealer in Canada. The Role
This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, and pulling of orders. Also responsible for maintaining corporate set levels of inventory and quality control. This position reports to the Shop Manager or Service Manager.
Key Tasks
Shipping & Receiving
- Receiving and shipping of lift trucks and parts, responsible for counting and putting away orders.
- Processing and pulling of all orders, placing them in the proper location or package and prepare them for shipping.
- Processing and pulling of restock for all locations.
- Processing tire, card, pump, motor and drive unit cores to be shipped back to Crown for credit.
Inventory and Quality Control
- Responsible for ensuring counts and movement of inventory is accurate.
- Performs counts and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy is maintained.
- Processing of parts needing location in the stockroom and parts being returned to stock.
- May perform audits of van inventories when required.
Miscellaneous
- Pressing tires, cutting cable and chain. Disperse supplies to technicians as needed.
- Keep area clean and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
KNOW HOW & EXPERIENCE
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Detail oriented
- Per 8-hour shift, must be able to sit 1 hour, stand 4 hours, walk 3 hours.
- Ability to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lb., reach below knee level, above shoulder level.
- Occasionally able to lift / carry 50lbs.
- Ability to bend/stoop/twist, squat, climb stairs, grip/grasp, torque, work with arm outstretched, work above chest level, and pinch grip.
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
