REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed commercial training or comparable qualification in the area of logistics or shipping
• Professional experience in shipping or logistics, ideally in an international company
• Good knowledge of shipping processes and common shipping and logistics software
• Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and coordinate effectively in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work in a team and the ability to work independently and under pressure
• Very good communication skills and customer orientation

JOB PURPOSE

This employee will assist the Shipping supervisor in preparing daily orders for shipping and to also assist in receiving. This individual will need to help physically in the packing of orders & receiving of shipments. The individual will also need to fill out forms & make labels as required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to pack TSF, sTIM & paste orders. Light to heavy lifting required
• Load & unload trucks. Requires use of pallet jack, forklift, etc
• Band & wrap pallets & crates
• Perform basic PC shipping functions
• Organize multiple piece shipments (count & add)
