Description:
SUMMARY
Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00a-3:30p, Shipping and Receiving Clerk responsible for the distribution and receiving of Rug Doctor machines and products at our Gilbert, AZ facility.

Responsibilities:
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to become forklift certified under the Company Forklift Certification Policy.
- Basic math and Microsoft Office skills, JD Edwards (a plus).
- Organizational skills with attention to accuracy.
- Detail oriented with good basic mathematical aptitude and memory retention.
- Ability to work well under limited supervision.
- Organizational skills with attention to thoroughness and accuracy with good communication, written and verbal skills.
- Self-motivation and a positive attitude, with the ability to work well with others in a high-pressure environment.
- Good attendance with ability to work as scheduled and work overtime as needed
- Loading dock experience helpful.
- Ability to perform all duties safely & use discretion to prevent injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Pulls stock and assembles merchandise and boxes new equipment for shipment from work orders and marks with product identification and consignee’s address.
- Assures accuracy of shipment quantity and description to order specifications.
- Stores merchandise, supplies, equipment in a safe orderly manner using appropriate handling methods for protection and disbursements and stock locations.
- Follows all written departmental processes.
- May operate material handling equipment, including forklift which would require the ability to become forklift certified under the Forklift Policy and Procedures guidelines.
- Participating actively in lean activities, including 5S and continuous improvement activities.
- Loads and unloads trucks and containers.
- Pick, pack and stack orders.
- Participating in inventory cycle counts.
- Handle miscellaneous related duties and assignments as required.
