Role Summary:
CHC Helicopter is a large helicopter services company, specializing in transportation to offshore oil and gas platforms, civilian search and rescue and air medical evacuation services and helicopter maintenance repair and overhaul. CHC Helicopters Netherlands BV has one vacancy for the position of Receiving Inspector / Store Keeper, reporting to the Operational Director and based in Den Helder, The Netherlands.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • MBO or higher (Demonstrably via diploma degree or Work experience)
  • Preferred minimum of 5 year experience in similar position
  • Experience in working in Aviation company (including regulations), preferably at CHC.
  • Professional level of Dutch and English, verbal and written.
  • Above standard knowledge and working skills with MRO Software (AMOS)
  • Preferrably Dangerous Goods Handling Awareness Training, Electro Static Discharge handling training, preferred Human Factors training or any other aviation related training
  • BHV and EHBO

Responsibilities:

The primary role of the Receiving Inspector / Storekeeper is to perform timely processing, storing and issuing of (aeronautical) goods and support the Supervisor Material Management on continuous compliance and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process inbound/outbound orders to / from base to/from vendors, other Heli-One facilities or CHC bases, including a quality check of the parts & paperwork in question unpack, repack, pack parts to aviation packing guidelines on handling & packing aviation parts including Electro Static Discharge and Dangerous Goods handling and prepare shipments & shipping documentation.
  • Receiving of spares, ensure compliance with CAA regulations and company procedures/Part 145 regulations
  • Complete orders by selecting goods from shelves & issue parts to engineers on the base.
  • Liaise with Base Engineers and Material Coordinator on parts requirements
  • Process the return of goods back to stock.
  • Count and record the number of spares in store during annual stock count
  • Binning/replenishing shelves
  • Update AMOS as necessary.
  • Responsible for running and maintaining the daily stores function for SV/US spares
  • Chase / track inbound shipments to the base, and update AMOS
  • Record Import/Exports data for Intrastats for HMRC
  • Prepared & willing to work outside the normal working hours if the operation at the base requires them to, in Aircraft on Ground situations for example.
  • Perform Compliance Monitoring on SC processes and support other bases in Country
  • Engage with local forwarders on best options for shipment of spares in Country
  • Assessment of component modification status, maintenance status / utilization hours and liaising with Technical Records staff in case of anomalies.
  • Storage of (dangerous) aeronautical goods under the required conditions and periodic monitoring of shelf‐life sensitive products in an auditable manner.
  • Assist in outsourcing and / or managing of the maintenance, calibration, certification, etc. for (provisioned) tooling, (lifting,test and ground support) equipment and hangar facilities compliant with applicable requirements.
  • Issuance and registration of serviceable tooling and (lifting, test and ground support) equipment from the bonded store.
  • Report, analyze and act on hazards, occurrences and non-conformances.
  • Perform / manage additional tasks, duties and projects assigned by the Supervisor Material Management.
