Shipping Supervisor

We are seeking a Shipping/Forklift Leadhand/Supervisor to join our team! The head Shipping Supervisor will coordinate and organize the outbound shipments including processing orders through our ERP system and preparing pick up’s with carriers. Priority is given to candidates that have strong computer skills, ERP system experience and have knowledge in organizing shipments in Canada, and USA. Attention to detail is a must! Working within customer portals and preparing detailed shipping labels and paperwork. Forklift certification or experience is required. Strong excel and computer skills is an asset. Dangerous goods certification an asset.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience managing/supervising a small team
• Previous experience operating material handling equipment (forklift, power jack).
• Previous experience operating processing equipment, an asset.
• Working knowledge of ERP, an asset.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience.
• Valid counter balance forklift license.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

• Receive finished goods into the ERP system
• Create delivery notes and BOL’s
• Coordinate outbound logistics
• Load and unload trucks via forklift
• Work with the shipping team to ensure accuracy and on time delivery
• Organize outbound shipments
• Collaborate with logistics supervisor to anticipate order completion dates and organize shipping schedules
• Ensure goods being shipped meet the quality and expected packaging to prevent damage.
