Job Description
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Shipping Supervisor will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, preparation and delivery of customer orders, and ensures all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Required Skills & Daily Duties

  • Experience supervising in shipping or production environments
  • Experience with managing diverse teams of people
  • Strong motivational and communication skills for generating maximum results from teams
  • Highly organized
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong problem solving
  • Skilled in assessing timelines and deadlines
  • Meeting health and safety regulations
  • Manage day to day shipping teams
  • Prioritize shipments
  • Work with Production Manager on critical orders
  • Liaise with shipping dispatcher
  • Various projects as assigned by Warehouse Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ideally 5 years of related experience;
  • Strong communication and people skills, initiative;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OUTLOOK);
  • Strong ability and desire to develop and grow skills;
  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification;
  • Product knowledge is an asset
