Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Ship’s Systems Analyst – Training Requirements for Crew Manning to join our team in Norfolk, VA

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ship’s training team experience.
  • Afloat Training Group inspection Team experience.
  • Ability to analyze problems associated with incomplete training requirements and recommend path for improvement.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a current/active Interim Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must be a US Citizen

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sedentary Work, lift and carry 50#
  • Extensive time in stationary position
  • Be able to move around the office
  • Operate office equipment.
  • Be able to communicate professionally with ManTech employees and ManTech clients
  • The person in this position must be capable to go onboard a ship in an operational and industrial environment.
  • Able to climb ladders and go through scuttles onboard vessels.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED with Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the developing, implementing, administering, and evaluating training programs to meet the training requirements for CVN readiness.
  • Administrative and evaluative work concerning development and training of military onboard aircraft carriers.
  • Monitoring complexity of training on a quarterly basis, ensuring quarterly/yearly assessments of department training programs are conducted, and in reporting findings to the XO and CO quarterly as well as, in military
  • Working knowledge and capability in detailed development of crew training, and procedure development. to technical management, development, and integration experience with aircraft carrier crew training requirements and operations
  • Consecutive with above, Five (5) years of experience in the proficient use of Microsoft Products and the understanding of advanced modeling and analytical techniques.
  • Analyze command-level course evaluations and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Conduct training needs assessments for current and future needs based on mission priorities and budget constraints of the command.
  • In conjunction with above years of experience, 10 years’ experience in military training and budgeting.
  • experience in preparing and submitting requests for military training and obtaining course quotas.
  • experience in developing long-range training plans for aircraft carriers

Responsibilities:

  • Generate, update and validate data in various formats for presentations, reports and dashboards. Be proficient in the use of all Microsoft products.
  • Coordinate with CNAL/CNAF codes (primarily N1 and N7) to align in providing feedback to assigned CVN leadership.
  • Assess completion levels and impacts of unit level training requirements using data from multiple sources.
  • Develop metrics to serve as Key performance indicators of readiness.
  • Provide the assessments to ships and CNAL/CNAF codes and provide recommendations for increasing readiness.
  • Conduct trend analysis to get ahead of potential Fleet and Force level deficiencies.
  • Review message traffic for Training Readiness reporting and conditions that will impact units achieving readiness goals. (Training Completion reports, ITER, EMIR, etc)
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts within the ROC to identify alterations and equipment issues that will impact training cycle events.
  • Be familiar with the OFRP cycle requirements and obstacles units face.
  • Be experienced with the following data sources: FLTMPS, MNA, TABLEAU, CVSHARP, DRSR-S, DRRS-N, NRRE, eNTRS, CANTRAC.
