Responsibilities:

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Support the PepsiCo Shopper Marketing Strategy including:

  • Support the creation and development of the shopper activation plan across customers.
  • Project manage the execution of activations across internal and external stakeholders, including preparation of sell in materials to actively engage retailer buying /marketing teams AND enable field team execution/support
  • Ensure an appropriate blend of consumer /shopper insights supports the activation plan for each initiative
  • Evaluate ROI performance and document findings to refine future decision making, including analysis of IRI and Quantium data
  • Various administrative support tasks such as ordering, coordination and dispatch

Drive Cross-functional Alignment via:

  • Cultivating relationships within retailers and work within their parameters to become a trusted advisor /activation partner
  • Managing relationships with external agencies and suppliers to drive value added benefit for the business and create a Pep+ impact
  • Gaining alignment to the strategic plan within the marketing function

Support Budget Management process including:

  • Ensure Shopper budgets are updated and reconciled on a monthly basis, purchase orders raised, goods receipted and invoices approved for payment.
  • Forecast budgets in conjunction with customer team to maximise future plans
  • Act As Owner to ensure best negotiated value of supplier estimates and drive productivity gains

Qualifications:

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Degree qualified with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in shopper or consumer marketing, shopper agency, field or account sales role.
  • Preferable experience working on large scale campaigns for major grocery retailers.
  • Familiarity with FMCG retailer dynamics, and ability to understand category trends and insights and utilise these to build effective customer/shopper plans.
  • Proven analytical, planning and organisation skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong, cross functional relationships (internal and external), and work collaboratively with others to deliver business outcomes.
  • Solid communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Demonstration of ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Results driven, with ‘can do’ attitude.
