Responsibilities:

THE ROLE REQUIRES EXPERT UNDERSTANDING OF THE SIEBEL DEVELOPMENT AND WITH EXPERIENCE OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Siebel, including analysis and design in roles such as architect, designer, developer or tester.
  • Siebel functional or technical skills
  • Siebel Architecture knowledge
  • Understanding of Siebel Configuration, eScripting, Report development and Workflows
  • Candidates must have excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with our clients, build rapport and foster relationships.
  • Should be adept at producing technical design documents and communicating with functional and technical teams and other stakeholders within a project setup.
  • Strong Analysis and Problem-Solving skills; ability to investigates issues and conduct root cause analysis and comes up with various options to solve the problem.
  • Strong, Fluent, and confident communication skills.
  • Experience in working with Agile development teams.

LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities including technical design, integration design, development, unit testing, systems integration testing, configuration, documentation, report development, data migration, knowledge transfer, UAT support, production go-live, hyper-care and transition to the support organisation.
  • A key emphasis for us is on implementing solutions that make a difference by ensuring the delivery of quantifiable benefits to the client and you will provide advice and guidance to our customers on the process improvements and efficiencies that can be realised through the technical implementation on Oracle Siebel.
  • To achieve this, you will need to work closely with the client SMEs, business analysts and stakeholders and engage in various activities such as
  • Gather business requirements and develop design specifications aligned to defined requirements and functional specifications
  • Adhere to client’s documented development process and standards for Oracle Siebel development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements and propose solutions
  • Create functional design documents, user stories, mock-ups, test plans, and manage the testing cycle to ensure successful project delivery
  • Prepare deployment instructions for technical components and support the change migration activities if required
  • Support testing activities e.g. defect resolution
  • Clarify requirements with functional analyst or other team members when necessary
  • Conduct peer reviews for other development works
  • Document code changes in an easy and maintainable manner
  • Perform unit testing for code changes, including the automation of unit testing
  • Perform impact analysis for code changes against current system configuration/CEMLIs, resolve conflicts and obtain advice on the solution design before development
  • Design, code, test and document Oracle Siebel based technical solutions and integrations
  • Recommend innovative solutions to improve efficiency of existing or proposed solutions
  • Develop unit test scripts and support SIT and UAT test phases
  • You will be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities including Development, technical configuration, documentation and unit testing of Oracle Siebel technical components and testing support, production go-live, hyper-care and transition to the support organisation.
  • You will also occasionally be required to provide support to pre-sales activities including the Oracle Siebel implementation and upgrade, performing requirements fit / gap analysis, providing system demonstrations and advising on resourcing requirements for planning and estimating purposes.
