Siemens PLC engineer

Responsible for the design, development and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems on site. Key technology will be Siemens. Any exposure to Rockwell and Emerson DeltaV will be of advantage.
Will participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
Thorough understanding of Physical and Procedural Layer design, development and qualification.
Work with automation team to design system architecture, Design Specification, Control Strategies, and library development.
Strong understanding of CSV documentation for Pharma projects
Supporting manufacturing operations for day today support for DeltaV system.
Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes
Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations as required.
Field commissioning of automation equipment’s.
System administration and maintenance support.
Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.
Interacting with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.
Requirements:
Minimum of 6-10 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in the Designing and commissioning of automation projects for GMP manufacturing site.
Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process
Understanding of automation hardware and networking technologies
Siemens PCS7 or S7 with Batch exposure is required.
Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience or Rockwell Pharma experience is advantag
