Queensland Rail has a permanent full time opportunity for a passionate Signal Engineering Officer to join our Signalling Reliability Engineering team.

As a Signal Engineering Officer, you will play a crucial role in technical support for the maintenance and troubleshooting of signalling systems across our existing infrastructure.

• Collaborating with field technicians and other engineers to support signalling solutions.
• Conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Analysing data and identifying areas for improvement in signalling infrastructure.
• Respond promptly to requests from maintenance staff regarding signal failures and implementing effective solutions to minimise disruptions.
• Providing technical support and training to team members.
  It’s important to note that the main focus for this role will be on technical support of our existing rail signalling systems across our rail network. Whilst ETCS is on our horizon, this role won’t be at this stage supporting ETCS an also doesn’t support telecommunications/networking systems.
