Description:

We are looking for an experienced Simulation Engineer (a) with strong programming skills to join our engineering team.
In this position, you will play a critical role in performing numerical simulations to model and analyse various physical phenomena and systems, as well as optimising codes to improve the performance, efficiency and accuracy of computational models.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct numerical simulations to model and analyse various physical phenomena and systems
  • Execute pre-processing tasks to prepare data and models for simulations and carry out post-processing tasks to interpret and visualise the results
  • Optimise codes to enhance performance, efficiency and accuracy of computational models
  • Perform pedestrian flow simulations (agent-based) and CFD simulations using OpenFOAM and proprietary software
  • Implement AI approaches to enhance computational models and automate analytical tasks for better accuracy and efficiency
  • Coordinate projects, ensuring effective communication, planning and execution of tasks to meet project goals and deadlines
  • Utilise High Performance Computing (HPC) resources to run large-scale simulations and handle complex computational tasks
  • Leverage AWS computing services to deploy, manage and scale computational workloads in the cloud
