This role is not Travel Consulting, rather customer service excellence focussed on the alignment of deliverables as to their identified priorities, and your own ongoing recommendations as you have learnt their internal practices.
A broad skill set is required for this one as you will be supporting lounge application enquiries one minute and reviewing internal training components for improvement the next. Accordingly, high level communication skills are a must, as is the ability to work with a diverse client base of all levels, always in a professional manner.

  • Train new Travel Arrangers as recruited by the business and review the internal support and training tools overall (eg their online booking engine) for maximum effectiveness – you will be nationally supported also in this aspect;
  • Support the internal invoicing procedures for the client;
  • Support improvement in the local regional travel component of this business, particularly in areas such as general Q&A and better supplier outcomes as negotiated;
  • Ultimately you will be known as the first point `go to person’ for this clients’ Travel Advisors and clients, and you will always be thinking of solutions that could be implemented tomorrow, to help today.
