YOUR OPPORTUNITY
The Site Engineer will monitor the project plan and record progress against the program, resolve engineering issues, manage the administration of subcontractors, ensure technical matters with the project are compliant and drive zero harm safety culture on site.
- Review and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statements
- Liaise, communicate and plan with the foreman, and subcontractors on a daily basis to achieve target outcomes
- Ensure project delivery is compliant with project standards
- Ensure on site works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentation
- Participate in and maintain cost management of daily activities
- Prepare documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure allocated work packages and resources are managed to ensure costs are within or below budget, and contribute to the achievement of project targets
Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role across the execution of major infrastructure projects/precast yard
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
