Description:
One of Ireland’s well known main contractors are on the lookout for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team. This company has a great reputation in the construction industry throughout Ireland and is one of the leading brands in their field.
They are Seeking a Site Engineer for a large residential project in Donaghmede North Dublin. You will be the main engineer on this site liaising with directly with The Contracts Manager.
This role is site-based, working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of experience on Irish construction sites.
- Setting out experience.
- Engineering Degree/Diploma.
- Computer literate.
- Full understanding of design drawings.
- RC Frame/ Structural Steel Experience.
- Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme.
- Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to Site Manager / Senior Engineer.
- Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
- The ability to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site.
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment along with the health and safety regulations of the site.
- Responsibility for design coordination of all civil and structural elements with the design team and ensuring that the design is submitted in a timely fashion.
- Responsibility for Quality Control of all aspects of the construction project in relation to civil and structural elements.
- Responsibility for the completion of the project in line with the programme and budget.
