Site Engineer

One of Ireland’s well known main contractors are on the lookout for an experienced Site Engineer to join their team. This company has a great reputation in the construction industry throughout Ireland and is one of the leading brands in their field.
They are Seeking a Site Engineer for a large residential project in Donaghmede North Dublin. You will be the main engineer on this site liaising with directly with The Contracts Manager.
This role is site-based, working Monday to Friday with an early finish on Fridays.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience on Irish construction sites.
• Setting out experience.
• Engineering Degree/Diploma.
• Computer literate.
• Full understanding of design drawings.
• RC Frame/ Structural Steel Experience.
• Self-motivating to deliver on safety, quality & programme.
• Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Report to Site Manager / Senior Engineer.
• Liaise with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• The ability to carry out and instruct in Setting out and levelling the site.
• Comply with safety regulations on all equipment along with the health and safety regulations of the site.
• Responsibility for design coordination of all civil and structural elements with the design team and ensuring that the design is submitted in a timely fashion.
• Responsibility for Quality Control of all aspects of the construction project in relation to civil and structural elements.
• Responsibility for the completion of the project in line with the programme and budget.
