In the role of Gatekeeper at our flagship Gold Coast resort in construction, you will be responsible for ensuring that the deliveries and pick-ups flow. An extremely busy construction site with 4 construction crews working on different stages, we have Civil, Commercial and Residential plus all their trades that will have deliveries and pick-up’s happening throughout the day, we need someone who will involve themselves in the detail of knowing which trades are expecting trucks, where they are based and where to direct them. Knowing all the time how many deliveries have come to the different stages of the site and ensuring that there are not too many trucks in the same place at the same time.
Using a radio to communicate and direct the drivers and to let the trades or Site Managers know that a delivery is on its way. Keeping a daily record of the statistics of the deliveries/trucks who have been to site and also communicating with the team at the prestart to understand what the day will be bringing.
A pivotal role to the management of the site, you are a great communicator, can input data and can plan ahead and have a good understanding of how a construction site works.
