Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the North America HR Manager, the site HR Manager will
work closely with the Twinsburg General Manager and act as business partner to the senior leadership team. They will shape and support the development of effective people plans to deliver the business strategy. Responsible for driving the culture of the site in coordination with the GM to be an “employer of choice” and drive a sense of pride within employees by strengthening the internal brand and the teamwork across sites.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong relationship of trust and partnership with all team members of Twinsburg site
  • Deploy HR processes and improve processes already in place
  • Support line managers to identify and manage HR interventions to improve business performance and improved individual performance of team members;
  • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for company personnel insuring that the organization is in full compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
  • Plans, organizes, and manages all activities of the department including but not limited to recruitment and selection, promotions, transfers, payroll, training, affirmative action/EEO compliance, job classification, performance evaluation, and employee relations in accordance with overall objectives of the organization. Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems;
  • Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in

efficiency of department and services performed;

  • Manages compensation program and performance evaluation program and revises as

necessary;

  • Provides strategic human resource insight and guidance on organization issues and business implications pertaining to specific projects and initiatives;
  • Plans and leads organization design initiatives to streamline and implement efficient structures, roles and/or processes that support shifting business demands;
  • Supports and drives communications related to annual programs such as performance management, pay and performance, incentive compensation, engagement survey, annual enrollment, training and development, and general site communications;
  • Responsible for delivery of Engage action plans to the site organizing and communicating

actions.

  • Provides ongoing consulting and support services to business leaders in the

execution/delivery of HR programs and policies as well as guidance related to the

management of their employees;

  • Develops learning strategies and plans with leaders based upon deficiencies identified in a needs assessment;
  • Monitors progress against the company’s annual diversity goals and recommend corrective actions if appropriate
  • Creates and manages budget of human resources operations
  • Other duties may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education and/or Experience:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business in a related field and a minimum of five years of progressive Human Resources experience and/or training, or
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of eight years of progressive Human Resources experience..
  • three years of management experience,
