Job Description
Purpose of the Job:

This role is responsible for overseeing and leading a Site Logistics Transformation within the Leeds and Langenzenn Factories in readiness for the deployment of a new ERP solution. Specifically:

  • Data purification & analysis of the Plan for Every Part (PFEP)
  • Warehouse storage design & Assembly Point-of-Use (POU) design
  • Machinery & equipment design and procurement
  • Workforce & equipment planning
  • Logistics process design
  • Inventory transfer & rearrangement planning.
  • Integration of supply chain requirements into warehouse design.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND OUTCOMES:

  • Execute Rotork Business System Audits in readiness for system implementation, develop GAP analysis detail and deliver & execute a programme to remove gaps prior to system deployment.
  • Act as a point of contact for the D365 Implementation Programme and as the conduit between the programme and the Operations Function for the Logistics & Warehouse functional area.
  • Coordinate/provide the relevant SME/functional resources as required to support delivery of the D365 /Target Operating Model transformation programme.
  • Lead Site Leadership and SMEs through change management to adopt the core D365 operations solution.
  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to define/validate/sign off requirements/deliverables to ensure our solution meets global best practice or local needs.
  • Lead and support Business Process change within the Rotork Lucca operation to align to Business system design and required workflow.
  • Lead Logistics architecture / layout design and deployment using 3rd party contractors.
  • Hold & report upon the consolidated Operations view of progress against solution & business readiness for functional area.
  • Maintain and develop business process maps for Logistics operations.
