Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Manager to join our dynamic team in the Mining division – in our Drill and Blast Division, based on our Cowal Gold operations in NSW.
As the Site Manager – Drill & Blast, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating daily operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and safety within our project sites. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the safe and economic site execution of the project reporting to the Operations Manager.
- Liaise with client representatives on daily activities and inform the client of activities which may impact on mining operations.
- Provide key leadership, management, and direction to support new and existing site employees
- Ensure compliance with company processes, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
- Monitor project costs and strive to achieve budgeted margins.
- Monitor costs and identify opportunities to reduce operating expenses.
- Review and approve purchase orders in line with company protocols.
