BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 3+ years of experience with Production Control/Materials Management
  • Physical ability to stand for duration of a shift; able to lift, carry, move and manipulate a large volume and variety of parts
  • 3+ years of experience with processes related to managing Tool Cribs and systems analysis
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • 1+ years of Tool Control experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Inventory Control, Manufacturing or Quality
  • Experience working in Cribmaster, Andon, and BESSY
  • Experience using lean manufacturing principles

TYPICAL EDUCATION:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 2 years’ related work experience).

Responsibilities:

Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under general supervision.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Confidential Clearance Post-Start is required.
