QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL SKILLSETS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 5 years+ of experience in a technical IT role with a focus on software development and system administration.

Core Technical Skills :

  • Advanced skills in programming and scripting (JavaScript, Python, .NET, NodeJS, YAML, Bash/PowerShell) and automation (Terraform, Jenkins, GIT).
  • Extensive experience with AKS, proficiency in securing, managing, and optimizing APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Azure’s scalability features and security practices. (AKS, Autoscale, Load Balancing, Availability Sets etc.)
  • Proficiency in containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong foundation in networking infrastructure and solving (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, DHCP, load balancing, replication, SSH).
  • Experience with monitoring tools: New Relic, Devo, Dynatrace, CA APM, PRTG
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD methodologies using Jenkins, including managing Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and deployment

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teams to enhance application and transaction scalability using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure scalability features.
  • Handle L3 technical investigation from L2 support team.
  • Develop application monitoring strategies using New Relic, Devo, and Azure Monitor, including creating monitors and dashboards.
  • Prioritize AI Operations platform enhancements and streamline CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins for better deployment processes.
  • Employ problem-solving skills with tooling for quick issue identification and root cause analysis in application performance.
  • Enhance data visibility for partners, transforming complex data into actionable insights for partners and product owners.
  • Support and refine toolsets and practices, ensuring engineering squads are equipped with the latest in reliability engineering methodologies.
  • Advocate for SRE principles, sharing best practices and insights across teams to foster a culture of performance excellence.
  • Lead communications with business collaborators, translating technical details into business language to ensure clear understanding.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal teams, ensuring collaboration and alignment on projects and initiatives.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities, responding to new challenges and operational demands with agility and strategic focus.
