JR44132 Site Security Supervisor

In this role, you will coordinate physical security operations for the site. Duties also include;

  • Ensure the implementation of Micron Security Standards & Guidelines
  • Use established protocols to minimize occurrences of Loss Prevention
  • Coordinate badge access to guard against unauthorized intrusion to Micron premises
  • Access control management to handle pedestrian and vehicular traffic
  • Conduct monitoring through the use of installed surveillance systems
  • Ensure subordinates and outsourced officers enforce to duty post and relief schedules
  • Make changes to duty assignments based on operational or business needs
  • Deliver appropriate support security service or support to other functional groups using security standard processes as a guide
  • Participate in the development of global security policies
  • Establish and handle positive relationships with key internal partners
  • Establish and manage relationships with local law enforcement and security providers
  • Conduct physical security risk assessments on an annual basis and in alignment with corporate guidelines
  • Consult manager on investigations, as appropriate, in keeping with corporate requirements
  • Supervise conformance of outsourced guards to security post orders (or contract expectations) through (KPI) key performance indicators
  • Supervise and ensure implementation and maintenance of a security personnel training program
  • Maintain security systems and equipment to ensure effective operational resilience in the protection of Micron assets and ensure accurate reporting of malfunction for timely repair/replacement
  • Coordinate general and emergency communication systems to include management of the Security Control Room, where applicable, and Lobby operations
  • To engage with site leadership team on security updates, improvement projects and any other site related improvements or project executions
  • Act as cover for Country Security Manager during his absence
  • Assist your manager in operational budget expenditure
  • Perform any other security related duties as advised by your superiors

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fresh diploma and degree graduates in security studies are strongly encouraged to apply
