ABOUT THE ROLE:

Join our team as a dedicated full-time Site Supervisor, playing a crucial role in our high-volume home construction projects. This position demands meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-notch quality. Perfect for individuals with a solid background in high-volume housing projects or experience with high-value luxury products, this role offers the opportunity to elevate your career. In this hands-on leadership position, reporting to and collaborating with a Site Manager, your responsibilities will encompass but not be limited to:

  • Overseeing all facets of construction on-site, ensuring compliance and upholding quality standards.
  • Efficiently scheduling and supervising contractors, subcontractors, labour, and equipment resources.
  • Coordinating daily duties of site labourers and operators.
  • Engaging with local authorities, utility providers, and design consultants.
  • Sourcing capable local trade contractors to contribute to our projects.
  • Handling project and contract administration tasks.
  • Providing expertise on construction efficiencies and offering solutions to challenges.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to Workplace Health & Safety standards.
  • Working within set project budgets and agreed-upon timelines.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A QBCC License and qualifications in Building & Construction are essential.
  • A trade background coupled with experience in high volume residential construction would be an advantage.
  • Thorough knowledge of OH&S, qualifications would be a nice to have!
  • A good understanding of the development process, spanning design, approval, and construction delivery.
  • Deep-rooted familiarity with the local industry and established professional networks.
  • A valid Driver’s License.
  • Superb management and communication skills.
  • Proactive and action-oriented behaviour, showcasing your accountability and commitment to results.
  • Calm under pressure, combined with an adaptable approach to challenges and change.
  • Used to problem-solving and have the capacity to share your vision and encourage others’ ideas too.
  • Prior experience with building software is a must.
