SKI HIRE TECHNICIAN - JINDABYNE WINTER 2024

Jindy Snow Ski Hire is now hiring experienced ski hire technicians for the 2024 winter ski season.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Answering telephone inquiries.
• General retail housekeeping duties.
• Trading hours are 7 am - 7 pm 7 days a week during the winter ski season.
• Previous ski hire experience is essential.
• Suitable for enthusiastic skiers and snowboarders.
• Own transport is essential as we are located 8km from the main township of Jindabyne (in East Jindabyne).
• Must possess current working rights, holiday working visa applicants are encouraged to apply.
  General Retail Industry Award (2020) wages (starting at $30.91) including penalty rates and overtime.
  Located in East Jindabyne with shifts available 7 days a week we are looking for both part-timers (appx 20 hours/week) and full-timers (up to 38 hours/week) for the season

• The hiring of snow sports equipment including skis, snowboards, clothing, and snow chains.
• Fitting and serving customers accurately and efficiently in Jindabyne-based ski hire.
• Receiving returned rental items and performing routine maintenance on returned goods.
• Retail sales of snow sports accessories in support of rental duties.
• Restocking retail displays.
• Cash handling and processing of transactions using a POS system and EFTPOS terminal.
