Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for Skills Development administration and support, including Learnerships, Skills Programmes, Bursaries, Internships and BBBEE. This person will also serve as a back-up to the HRD Administrator. Proven learning programme experience is required. The successful implementation, management and monitoring, as per our management and delivery contracts with the WRSETA, requires a person to be dedicated to the constant administration of the Learnership Programmes, Skills Programmes, Bursaries, Workplace Experience Projects and quality management processes. At any given time, the SDA Team is working on three different learnership intakes and two different workplace experience intakes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Tertiary qualification would be an advantage; • Truworths operations or previous administration experience ideal; • Minimum of 2 to 3 years Skills Development/SETA experience is required.

Responsibilities:

• Learnership recruitment administration: Driving the administration and support in recruitment and SETA processes, including capturing learners on the SETA data base • Learnership and Skills Programme tracking: Progress and termination tracking; • Dual capturing of learnership and skills programme achievements; • Internship administration and monitoring; • Co-ordination of learnership administration (including SETA administration) and responsibility for efficient co-ordination and distribution of learnership material; • Liaison with divisions and field support via telephone/e-mail and written channels; • Creating and pulling reports driven by business or WRSETA needs; • Support to the BBBEE process; • Support to the mandatory grant process; • Support to the accreditation process; • Support the HRD Administrator; • Participate in special projects.
