Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Skills Trainer is responsible for the training, development and upskilling of Casa Nandocas to support the adherence and maintenance of all applicable standard operating procedures and ensure compliance and consistency across all Casas.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Driver’s License with Own vehicle
- 3 years restaurant management level experience in the restaurant / hospitality industry
- 1-year management experience in the restaurant / hospitality industry
KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledge and understanding of the restaurant / hospitality industry (Intermediate)
- Knowledge of food preparation, hygiene and customer service best practices (Advanced)
- Communication skills
- Presentation and facilitation skills (Intermediate)
- Coaching and mentoring skills (Intermediate)
- Train-the-trainer skills (Basic)
- Assessor skills (Basic)
- Computer Literacy (Intermediate)
SKILLS AND TRAINING EVALUATION
- Monitor, evaluate and provide feedback on adherence to training plans for Casas, reporting all deviations to the Regional Training Manager
- Quality assures the skills of Casa Nandocas through observation and other relevant methods in line with Nando’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ensure that Casa Nandocas are up to date on their training cycles, as per the Regional training calendar
- Report attendee participation and Casa / Nandoca performance trends to the Regional Training Manager
- Compile training compliance/ non-compliance reports, inclusive of recommendations, for each Casa to send to the Regional Training Manager
