Skipta is the leading social network of online medical communities for verified US healthcare professionals to consult and exchange information within a private and secure platform.
Skipta was founded by Dr. Theodore Search, Pharm.D., an infusion pharmacist. While preparing to treat a patient discharged into his care, Ted needed to consult with another infusion pharmacist regarding the appropriate dosage of a new chemotherapy product to administer.
Reluctant to tap into digital channels and social networks, due to the clinical nature of the conversation, an unmet need was identified: a place where like-minded verified healthcare professionals could communicate and collaborate on patient cases across the country.
Skiptas first community, Pharmacist Society, was established for credentialed practitioners in 2009. Since then, the Skipta network has grown to comprise more than 20 specialized online medical communities, and 30+ multidisciplinary disease focus areas. Our growth is fueled by new clinical developments, continued specialization, and the needs of healthcare professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in progress or comparable work experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Pharmaceutical industry knowledge is a plus
  • Flexible and able to easily adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
  • Ability to understand and set priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, track progress, resolve issues, and efficiently and effectively see tasks to completion
  • Excellent written skills and communication skills

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

Skipta is seeking a part time intern for Summer 2024 that will assist the Client Solutions & Sales teams with day-to-day client-focused tasks. Skipta programs include digital media promotion and research among the life science and healthcare industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with medical/legal/regulatory (MLR) submissions of sponsored materials
  • Assist with sales proposals and requests
  • Assist Client Solutions Managers in preparing meeting materials for kick-off or status calls
  • Assist with quality assurance testing and launch approvals for sponsored materials
  • Perform regular QA/QC checks of Skipta sponsored program components including but not limited to emails, digital promotion & editorial posts
  • Collaborate with the Production, Client Solutions, Sales and Delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of all client programs
  • And all other duties as assigned
