The role will suit an experienced Accountant with a good working knowledge of self managed super funds (SMSF), looking for their next challenge. You may be in a situation where you wish to break away from a larger firm to work closely with the team in delivering higher-level services to your clientele. You will have sound technical expertise, value professional development and would enjoy the opportunity to be mentored by a Director that cares.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • At least 3 years’ experience within the accounting / SMSF industry
  • An understanding of the SMSF’s framework including up-to-date knowledge of Accounting standards applicable to Superannuation Funds
  • Ideally, you would possess a CA or CPA, or be studying towards this
  • Proficiency in Class Super, BGL360 or similar software as well as general accounting packages
  • Strong client service skills - being proactive, efficient and reliable in your service to create a successful partnership with clients
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal relationship skills
  • Technology focused, results-driven with strong attention to detail
  • Be a team player that has a passion for what they do as well as embracing continuous learning opportunities
