EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or mechatronics) with more than 8 years working experience, preferably in manufacturing environment.
• Experience in life science/ medical devices in the engineering function.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Have good knowledge of CAD and well verse with 2D and 3D design software (e.g. SOLIDWORKS).
• Have good understanding of system dimensioning and tolerancing of manufactured components to ensure system integration fit and function well.
• Well verse with manufacturing process such as casting, molding, machining, Forming/stamping and knowledge of different material used for manufacturing.
• Have good communication, analytical capability, and leadership qualities.
• Good business sense and the understanding of the OEM instrument material cost, process cost, and logistic/ transportation cost.
