The Integrated Marketing team at Disney Entertainment, Southeast Asia (SEA) is responsible for the promotion of our movies and shows released in cinemas and on our streaming service in the region, Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar.
Digital Marketing is a cornerstone of our efforts in driving brand and title awareness, social buzz, and achieving business goals. We are looking for a Senior Specialist, Digital & Social Marketing, based in Singapore, overseeing SEA markets. The role will be responsible in implementing digital and social media campaign strategies in the region for our movies and shows in cinemas and on Disney+ / Disney+ Hotstar. This involves website content management, social content coordination with our agencies, engaging online/social communities, paid digital media planning (Programmatic, Video, Premium, Display, Connected TV, Social buys), as well as campaign monitoring and reporting.
This role requires a strong, well-rounded grasp of digital and social media channels, having experience in leveraging various content and paid media formats. They should also be knowledgeable in media entertainment industry trends and the latest innovations in digital and social marketing.

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Manage website content on our latest movies and updates, coordinating with internal stakeholders and web production agency
  • Coordinate social content and asset rollouts, as well as social content reviews and approvals with APAC and global teams
  • Work with the team and agencies to support the development of social media plans/calendars for our movies and shows, brand campaigns and always-on planning
  • Support in campaign briefing, communications and alignments to agencies
  • Participate in ideation and scripting for publicity content featuring our talents, as applicable
  • Support in paid digital media planning and implementation across digital and social buys, regularly checking campaign reports, analysing performance data to identify gaps and opportunities for optimizations that maximise efficiency and efficacy
  • Oversee regular community engagement and campaign reporting of social media buzz of our movies, shows and brands, analysing sentiments and engagement metrics to inform content strategy and optimizations that can further extend reach and engagement
  • Coordination with administrative, creative, finance, legal services, and other shared services, in order to carry out campaigns
  • Maintain a strong awareness on wider relevant and recent social trends, behaviours and topics on social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X) and online forums in the region, particularly among fans of our franchises and entertainment genres (e.g. Marvel, K-Drama), identifying strategic and tactical content opportunities that can resonate well with our audiences
  • Participate in the organization of social contests and coordination with Influencers where required
  • Contribute to social coverage of our marketing events where required
  • Coordinate with Disney’s other teams, businesses and partners for cross-campaign support
  • Stay up to date with emerging formats and innovations on social and digital channels, sharing inspiration with the team on new initiatives that we can test and learn

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in digital and social marketing
  • Marketing, Communications, Media or Business BA /BS degree, or other relevant qualifications
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, an excellent communicator with experience in copywriting
  • Conversational and writing fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Thai, Vietnamese or Tagalog is a plus
  • Strong familiarity with paid media planning on digital and social platforms, including Programmatic, Video, Premium, Display, and Connected TV buys
  • Proficient with social marketing tools, analytics and reporting dashboards such as Sprinklr, Meltwater or similar
  • A social- and digital-native, passionate about social media platforms, storytelling and content creation for brands
  • Interest in movies, series and pop culture is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office, Google Doc tools, and Keynote. Adobe Photoshop is a plus
  • Highly collaborative, organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
  • Passionate team player and able to collaborate well across functional teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced working environment
  • Adopts a challenging and questioning approach, proposing information and solutions in creative ways
