Join us in this role where you’ll spearhead the uptake of emerging technologies and digital innovation in the organisation by scouting, developing, and prototyping technology. You’ll be responsible for the creation and development of prototypes based on emerging technologies and cloud to identify new business potential. You’ll be part of the Architecture & Technology Community which consists of 120+ skilled and experienced architecture and technology professionals, who support the further maturation of the technologies across the organisation’s agile release trains and business units.

YOU’LL PLAY AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN:

• developing rapid prototypes based on emerging technologies or developed solutions to demonstrate value to business and advising your colleagues and IT support functions towards adoption
• scouting technologies based on criteria, such as attractiveness, TRL, strategic fit, and organisational preparedness
• creating awareness through the technology talks and other communications channels
• working closely with our Incubator team to support the maturation of the technologies by designing end-to-end solutions that comply with security standards and operability requirements
• maintaining and growing a network of partners, companies, and internal and external vendors who can inspire and enable innovation.

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU:

• are technically savvy, hold a university degree within areas, such as data engineering, computer science, programming, or similar, and have experience with Python, C#, or Java
• have experience from the innovation space and solid hands-on experience with prototyping and data engineering
• have experience working with Cloud computing, IaC, and containers
• are driven by curiosity and integrity and can empathise with the users and match their needs with new technologies to translate it into business potential and value
• have an appetite and interest in working with technologies, such as IIOT, Digital Twin, BIM, Edge Computing, Advanced Connectivity, Applied AI, Web3, Spatial Computing, and Quantum Technologies
• are a team player, a natural problem-solver, and devoted to deliver high-quality solutions.
